Keukenhof Tulip Gardens is open from March 20 till 11 May 2025. It’s the best day out among the tulips near Amsterdam! Every year, more than 7 million flower bulbs are planted by hand in the autumn to flower in spring. There is a variety of 800 different tulips. A unique and unforgettable experience for everyone.

Keukenhof Gardens in Holland
The flower park has 32 hectares full of flowers. There are also spectacular flower shows, surprising inspirational gardens, unique artworks and wonderful events. Wanna know everything about the Dutch tulips? Visit the Tulpomania exhibition in the Juliana Pavilion in the park.
Keukenhof theme 2025
Every year the flower park is dedicated to a specific theme. The inspiration gardens, events and artworks are adjusted accordingly. The theme of Keukenhof 2025 has not yet been announced. More will follow later. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok to stay up to date.
Walking between the tulips
From the 10 miles (15 km) hiking trails of Keukenhof you will have a spectacular view of the flower gardens. During your walk you will see unique, weekly changing flower shows, beautiful ponds and various pavilions with various restaurants and terraces. It is your chance to make the most beautiful selfie and flowers photos. In addition to the huge flower garden, the flower park is also the largest statue garden of the Netherlands. You can admire many statues made by national and international artist.
Visit Keukenhof with children
Keukenhof is also very nice for children. They can enjoy the treasure hunt, the petting zoo, the maze and the playground. For the little ones, there is also a Miffy playground. A visit to the flower park is a nice day out for the whole family.

Keukenhof Park guide book
If you want to know more about the beautiful flower park, order the park guide book when you buy your Keukenhof tickets. This beautifully designed book gives you a glimpse behind the scenes of Keukenhof and it is also a nice souvenir of your visit. You can pick up the Keukenhof park guide on the day of your visit at the entrance upon presentation of your online ticket. The park guide costs only € 7.00 and can be ordered when buying your Keukenhof tickets.
When to visit Keukenhof?
A question we get very often is when is the best time to visit the tulip park. Because the flower bulbs are planted in different layers in the park, the flower park is great every day during the season. In 2025, the season starts on Thursday 20 March and the last day is Sunday 11 May. There are three different flowering periods.
First period – From the opening the park will have lots of blooming flowers. There are some great indoor flower shows with many blooming tulips. Outside there are daffodils and crocuses in bloom.
Second period – After the daffodils and crocuses it’s time for the hyacinths and the early tulips to bloom in the outdoor gardens. The indoor flower shows are still amazing with great colors.
Third period – In the last period the tulips will bloom in the outdoor gardens. The trees will be green and the indoor flower shows are still showing amazing flowers.

Price Keukenhof Gardens
Tickets for Keukenhof Gardens 2025 are best booked online in advance. Tickets are available at the box office on a limited basis and cost € 25.00 there. On busy days, Keukenhof is often sold out and tickets are no longer available at the box office either.

When booking your Keukenhof Gardens tickets, you must choose a specific date and time slot for entry. In 2025, Keukenhof will operate with a limited number of tickets per day and time slot. To secure your preferred visit, book your tickets in advance!
If your preferred date and time are unavailable, it means tickets are sold out. However, you can still visit by booking a Tulip Festival Card or a combination ticket with the Keukenhof Shuttle bus from Amsterdam Centre, various Keukenhof day tours from Amsterdam, or public transport buses, which often offer more availability on different dates and times.

How to travel to Keukenhof?
The flower park is close to Amsterdam, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and other Dutch cities like Haarlem, Leiden, The Hague, Rotterdam and Delft. We advise you to plan your trip to Keukenhof in advance. There are several options available. You can travel bij public transport (Keukenhof Bus Express), driving to the flower park by car, book a guided tour from Amsterdam, The Hague or Rotterdam, get a taxi, go biking or walking to the Keukenhof Gardens. Keukenhof Gardens is very easy to reach by car. The flower park is located between the cities of Amsterdam, Haarlem, Leiden and The Hague and can be reached from the cities within 30 minutes by car.
At Keukenhof there are two large car parks for which you can buy a day ticket for € 10.00. You can easily buy your parking ticket when you buy your Keukenhof ticket.
Keukenhof Gardens will work with a maximum number of visitors per day in 2025. When booking your tickets, you must select a day and time slot for entering the park.
From the cities of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague there are also organised day trips to Keukenhof. This means you travel directly to Keukenhof and back in a luxury bus. A guide is often present on a day trip to tell you more about the tulips from the Netherlands and Keukenhof Gardens.

The Keukenhof Bus is a popular option for traveling to Keukenhof Gardens. The Keukenhof bus departs from variouslocations in the Netherlands and takes you to the flower park quickly and cheaply. With the special combi ticket you save money on your transport and access to the flower park. The price of a combi ticket depends from the departure location and included a round trip busticket and a skip the line Keukenhof ticket. In 2025, a new shuttle bus service will run from the square near the A’DAM Tower. Please note that this shuttle bus is not part of Amsterdam’s public transport system.
The shuttle from Amsterdam North is included in the Tulip Festival Card.

You can also choose to buy a Tulip Festival Card. This combi package includes a skip the line entrance ticket for Keukenhof and the shuttle bus from Amsterdam North. Please note: Public transport buses are not included in the Tulip Festival Card). The unique Tulip Festival Taxi Transfer service is the most comfortable and stress-free way to travel from your location in Amsterdam to the Keukenhof Gardens and the tulip fields in Holland. Your private driver will pick you up from your hotel or Amsterdam airport and take you safely to the most beautiful flower fields near Amsterdam. You will be brought to Keukenhof Gardens but can also choose to travel to one of the starting locations of the sightseeing tours along the tulip fields.
Keukenhof is situated between the flower fields and is perfectly accessible by bicycle. There are several bicycle sheds where you can park your bike for free.

Experience the tulip fields around Keukenhof Gardens
Around Keukenhof Gardens you will find the most beautiful tulip fields in the Netherlands. The area is called Bollenstreek (flower region) in Dutch. It is therefore also possible to make a sightseeing tour from the flower park to these beautiful flower fields. The sightseeing tours can be perfectly combined with a Keukenhof visit. There are several options:
Boat trip along the tulip fields
In the flower park you can take a boat trip to see the tulip fields from the water. The boat trip lasts 45 minutes and during the trip you will receive information about the flower region. This unique tour is not included in a Keukenhof ticket and has to be bought separately at the windmill in the flower park.
Cycling along the tulip fields
What could be more Dutch than discovering the tulip fields by (rented) bike. There are various Keukenhof cycle routes that take you past the most beautiful tulip fields. Bicycles can be rented at Keukenhof bicycle rental and daily guided bicycle tours start at 400 metres from Keukenhof. Book your activity in advance.
Sightseeing tours
Around Keukenhof there are also other tour operators. You can discover the tulip fields with an electric Renault Twizy tour, an electric scooter, a tuktuk private tour and even with a helicopter flight above the tulip fields.
