Why take the Tulip Festival Shuttle from Rotterdam?
Keukenhof is about an hour from Rotterdam, but by public transport you need a train, a change and a crowded bus. The Tulip Festival Shuttle does it in one go: you show your ticket, take your guaranteed seat and ride straight to Keukenhof. On the way you pass the Bollenstreek, the flower bulb region between Amsterdam and Leiden, where in April the fields turn into stripes of red, yellow and pink.
At Keukenhof you have 32 hectares of gardens to explore, with more than 7 million tulips, daffodils and hyacinths, flower shows in the pavilions and a historic windmill with a view over the fields. Your Keukenhof ticket is already in your hand, so you walk straight in.
