It was a bit crazy when we woke up on 1 April 2022. There was a layer of snow in Lisse and this was no April Fool’s joke. The flower fields and Keukenhof Gardens suddenly looked very different. It had been 14 years since it had snowed like that in April. Winter came to say hello to spring. The snow melted in the course of the day and fortunately most of the flowers were not damaged. Below we have placed some unique photos of the tulips in the snow.
