The Flower Parade passes Keukenhof around 15:45. It is often quiet in the flower park then, allowing you to enjoy the blooming tulips in Keukenhof.
You can take the Keukenhof shuttle bus back to Amsterdam at your convenience. So you can stay at Keukenhof for as long as you want. Last shuttle bus leaves around 7 pm.

There are also special Flower Parade tours to the Making of the Flower Parade on Thursday 18 April, the Night edition of the flower parade on Friday 11 April and the Flower Parade Expo in Haarlem on Sunday 13 April. These tours do not include a grandstand seat but you can go and see the flower parade yourself. You also visit Keukenhof Gardens with these tours.
