Keukenhof Gardens has more than 15 kilometers of hiking trails. The flower park is laid out in such a way that the flowers can be admired well even on busy days. Cycling is prohibited in Keukenhof. The tulip fields outside Keukenhof can be perfectly discovered with a cycling route.
Keukenhof has several pavilions where indoor flower shows and restaurants are located. All pavilions have the names of members of the royal family in the Netherlands. The largest pavilion bears the name of the royal family ‘Oranje Nassau’.
Entrance of Keukenhof
Keukenhof Gardens has two entrances. The Main entrance (south) and the extra entrance (north). Most visitors will enter the park at the main entrance. The biggest parking area is located there and the Keukenhof Express Bus, tour busses and taxis are located at the main entrance. If you travel by bike you can park your bike also at the main entrance. The extra entrance is only open during busy days. There is a parking area for cars at the extra entrance.
Tulips and other outdoor gardens
Flower gardens can be found everywhere in Keukenhof. Because Keukenhof plants several different types of flowers in each section, the park blooms throughout the season.
Indoor flower gardens
Keukenhof Gardens is also famous for its great indoor flower shows. Enjoy the show gardens with many different tulips and other flowers. The flower shows can be found in the pavilions:
Exhibition Juliana pavilion
In the Juliana pavilion, you can enjoy a beautiful exhibition. The theme of this exhibition will not be announced until March 2026.
Surprising inspiration gardens
Every spring, there are also several inspiration gardens in the flower park. These can be found after the playground on the east side of the park.
Keukenhof Windmill
One of the most famous windmills in the Netherlands is located in the flower park. From the windmill, you have a beautiful view of the tulip fields. The windmill can be visited for free by Keukenhof visitors. Behind the windmill you will find the departure location of the tour boats. You will find the mill on the east side of the flower park.
Boattrip along the tulip fields
Would you like to experience the flower fields at Keukenhof in a unique way? Then you can take a Keukenhof boat trip along the tulip fields. This boat trip is not included in your Keukenhof ticket and should therefore be booked separately. A boat trip costs € 10.00. You can book your boat trip at the park.
Playground for children
Various fun activities for children can be found in the middle of the park. There is a large Miffy playground, a petting zoo and a maze.
Restaurants in Keukenhof
Keukenhof Gardens has several restaurants in the park. There are also many stalls where you can go for delicious snacks and drinks.
Souvenir shops
Are you still looking for a nice souvenir of your visit to Holland? In Keukenhof you can find several nice souvenir shops with a wide range of articles. You can also go there to order flower bulbs.
Toilet facilities
Various toilet facilities can be found throughout the flower park. These are cleaned very regularly so that visitors can safely use the toilets.
Bike rental point
If you want to discover the tulip fields around Keukenhof Gardens by bicycle, you can rent a bicycle at the bike rental point. This rental point is located on the large parking lot at the main entrance of Keukenhof. You can also choose one of the other bicycle rental locations around Keukenhof.

Tickets for Keukenhof Gardens 2026
Keukenhof Gardens works with date and time-slot entry, with a limited number of tickets available per day. To secure your preferred visit, we strongly recommend booking your tickets in advance. Online tickets are also cheaper than at the door — adults save € 3.50 per ticket.
If your chosen date or time is unavailable, it means regular tickets are sold out. Don’t worry — there are still alternative ways to visit Keukenhof.
