This is our second Flower Forecast of 2019. A little later than planned but here it is. We wanted to wait for the latest weather forecasts. It is already February and spring is coming closer and closer.
The last month was one with some nice winter weather in the Netherlands. This weeks the temperatures are going to rise and we can realy feel that spring is in the air!
The first flower bulbs are starting to grow which is a good thing. Check out this flower forecast to learn more about our expectations for the flowering of the flowers. We will also look at some upcoming (flower) events and activities.
Current state of the flower fields
In February the flower fields are still in hibernation. We had some snow and cold temperatures. This is very good for the quality of the flowers. With the temperatures rising the first, early flowers are starting to grow. Some of the flower fields are turning greener and greener.
Weather Forecast
After the snow and colder weather we had last weeks it’s time for spring weather. The sun will shine more often and the temperatures are rising. The weather forecast for the coming weeks are positive with warmer days. We will keep looking at the rest of February and March because the weather in these months is important for the growth of the flower fields.

For the time being, we expect the flower fields to grow according to the average growth line maybe somewhat earlier. Check out the average growth of the flowers. From the beginning of March we will start with our weekly newsletter and we will update our Flower Map every week.
