DESCRIPTION:Friday 26 April is already the last flight day of the Helicopter Tours over the tulip fields at Keukenhof. On this day a limited number of places are available\, so book in time. The helicopter flights are available only 6 days during Tulip Festival 2024. All flights will start from short distance from Keukenhof Gardens.  \n\n\n\n\n\nPrivate Helicopter Flight from Amsterdam \n\n\n\nIn 2026\, no individual helicopter flights will be offered. There are still options for a private helicopter flight from the Heliport Amsterdam. These private flights are possible every day until 10 May\, last 30 or 60 minutes and are for a maximum of 3 or 4 passengers. The price is from € 1\,635.00. SUMMARY:Flower Parade Rijnsburg
DESCRIPTION:The Flower Parade Rijnsburg runs every year on the 2nd Saturday in August and is composed of 12 floats and more than 50 other elements\, such as cars\, coaches\, music bands etc. In addition\, each theme of a float is supported and represented by more than 100 extras. This parade is also the start of the Dahlia Festival. \n\n\n\nEvery year the flower parade Rijnsburg attracts more than 350\,000 visitors. In recent years the event was successfully broadcast on national TV (broadcaster MAX). The first corso in Rijnsburg was organized in 1946 and has since then taken place every year. In addition\, every theme of a float is supported and represented by more than 100 extras.  \n\n\n\nProgramme Flower Parade Rijnsburg 2024\n\n\n\n9 August: Flower Parade Show in Flower Auction Royal FloraHolland\n\n\n\nAlready a day before the parade starts\, it can be viewed at the Royal FloraHolland flower auction in Rijnsburg. The doors open at 16.00 hrs and close at 22.00 hrs. The Flower Parade Show is an atmospheric afternoon and evening with floral splendour and entertainment. Visitors can view and photograph all the floats. Entrance is free! Address: Laan van Verhof 3\, 2231 BZ Rijnsburg \n\n\n\n10 August: Flower Parade Rijnsburg\n\n\n\nCome and watch on Saturday 10 August when the colourful parade drives through the streets of Rijnsburg\, Katwijk and Noordwijk from 13.00 hrs. With twelve floats\, three music trailers and about 40 other vehicles decorated with flowers\, this parade is a feast for the eyes and the ears! Special attention is paid to the musical participation. Together with the 100 extras\, they turn Flower Parade Rijnsburg into a driving theatre. DESCRIPTION:Every second Sunday in September the Dutch city of Lichtenvoorde flaunts impressing parade floats decorated with four million Dahlia’s. Every year (since 1929) approximately thousand volunteers participate in this impressive spectacle. \n\n\n\nThe Flower parade Lichtenvoorde is on the Dutch National Inventory list for immaterial cultural heritage. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRoute Flower Parade Lichtenvoorde\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe length of the route of the Flower parade is 2.5 km. On the above map\, the route of the parade is highlighted in green. DESCRIPTION:Every fourth Sunday in September the small village Winkel is all about the Flower Parade Winkel. More than a million Dahlia flowers are used to create more than 20 floats for the Flower Parade.  \n\n\n\nCertainly not in the run-up to and during the annual  Flower Parade\, then the Winkelers are bigger than are ever! The ‘volunteers’ proudly work for weeks\, if not months\, on this day. DESCRIPTION:In 2026\, the Dutch Flower Parade will be held on Saturday 18 April. It is the 79th time that the Flower Parade will be held. It is the most famous flower parade of the Netherlands and it can be perfectly combined with a visit to the Tulip gardens of Keukenhof and the tulip fields in Holland. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe spring flower parade in Holland is unique in the world. It is the only flower parade that is made up with spring flowers like tulips and hyacints. More than a million visitors from all over the world enjoy the parade during the route of the creations. This event is made possible because of the many volunteers. \n\n\n\nFlower Parade route\n\n\n\nThe flower parade will ride from the seaside resort of Noordwijk on Saturday 18 April 2026 via the flower fields near Lisse to the historic city of Haarlem. The route is in total more than 42 kilometers (26 miles) long. Along the route several viewing locations have been created where extra entertainment and explanation about the corso floats will be given. The center of Flower Town Lisse\n\n\n\nJust a 10 minutes walk from Keukenhof you wil find the center of flower town Lisse. Every year the flower parade is one of the top events in the center.
