SUMMARY:Bloemencorso Lichtenvoorde (Flower Parade)
DESCRIPTION:Every second Sunday in September the Dutch city of Lichtenvoorde flaunts impressing parade floats decorated with four million Dahlia’s. Every year (since 1929) approximately thousand volunteers participate in this impressive spectacle. \n\n\n\nThe Flower parade Lichtenvoorde is on the Dutch National Inventory list for immaterial cultural heritage. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRoute Flower Parade Lichtenvoorde\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe length of the route of the Flower parade is 2.5 km. On the above map\, the route of the parade is highlighted in green. You will also find an overview of the stands (stands A-De Klinke & B-Antoniushove are at Varsseveldseweg; stand C-Richterslaan is at Richterslaan). \n\n\n\nThe parade starts at 14:00 and goes by the following streets:• Gert Reindersstraat (exhibition grounds)• Varsseveldseweg (stands A &  B)• Esstraat• Richterslaan (stand C)• Lievelderweg• Aaltenseweg• De Rode van Heeckerenstraat• Bronckhorststraat• Hendrik Leemreizestraat (exhibition grounds) \n\n\n\nTickets Flower Parade Lichtenvoorde\n\n\n\nTo enjoy the Flower Parade Lichtenvoorde you will have to buy a ticket. The parking fee is € 2\,50 \n\n\n\nDisabled:On presentation of a disabled parking ticket you can pass the checkout with your car. You then only pay entrance. DESCRIPTION:Every fourth Sunday in September the small village Winkel is all about the Flower Parade Winkel. More than a million Dahlia flowers are used to create more than 20 floats for the Flower Parade.  \n\n\n\nCertainly not in the run-up to and during the annual  Flower Parade\, then the Winkelers are bigger than are ever! The ‘volunteers’ proudly work for weeks\, if not months\, on this day. The parade groups work hard on the more than twenty parade floats that will fill the streets in the village on every 4th Sunday of September. The hundreds of volunteers ensure that it comes to a beautiful and well-running whole.
