BLOOMING REPORT APRIL 26 2018 – Full bloom

This is our ninth blooming report of 2018. Every week we write a new post with information about the weather conditions in the Netherlands and the blooming predictions.

April 26h 2018: Full bloom

The Dutch Flower Region is in full bloom. The warm days of last week have put many tulips in full bloom. The daffodils and hyacinths fields are now finished and the tulips shine on the fields. In the coming week it will be wonderful to cycling or walking along the flower fields. From May 1, more and more tulip fields are being cut. The farmer will remove the flower to allow the energy to return to the flower bulb.

If you want to enjoy the flower fields, come to the Bollenstreek next week. A visit to Flowerpark Keukenhof should also not be missed.

Forecast April and May weather

The coming days the weather is very varied. The sun will shine but there will also occasionally rain. The temperature is around the average. For both walking and cycling there will be sufficient dry moments on the day.

Blooming prediction

The colorful bulb-growing region is expected to bloom fully in the coming week. The crocuses, hyacinths and daffodils have now finished. Fortunately, we get back the beautiful tulip fields.
